Toolbars (Component Manager)

The toolbars in the component manager are divided into the following parts:

General toolbar
Search toolbar
Navigation toolbar

General Toolbar

/	New	Opens the Select database or workspace or Select workspace file dialog window, in which you can specify a name for the new database or workspace. The current database/workspace is closed. The new database/workspace is created and opened.
	Open	Opens the Select database or workspace dialog window, in which you can select the database or workspace you want to open.
	Save	Saves all changes to the current database or workspace.
	Cut	Moves the marked items to the clipboard. The items are not deleted immediately: they are deleted when they are pasted from the clipboard to another folder.
	Copy	Copies the marked items to the clipboard.
	Paste	Inserts the items in the clipboard in the current folder.
	Delete	Deletes the marked items.
	Expand	Expands all folders in the "Database" or "Workspace" list.
	Collapse	Closes all folders in the "Database" or "Workspace" list.
/	Import	Opens the Select Import File dialog window, where you can select a file to import and specify import options.
		Opens the import type selection menu. Import file can be used to import individual export files of any type, Import directory (see Importing a Directory Content for details) can be used to import all binary export files stored in a directory.
/	Export	Opens the Select Export File dialog window, where you can define export format and export settings, and then export the selected database objects.
	Insert Folder	Inserts a new folder.
	Insert Project	Inserts a new project in the current folder.
	Insert Module – <module type>	Inserts a new module in the current folder. The module type was previously selected via the button
		Opens the module type selection menu.
	Insert Class- <class type>	Inserts a new class in the current folder. The class type was previously selected via the button.
		Opens the class type selection menu.
	Insert State Machine	Inserts a state machine in the current folder.
	Insert Enumeration	Inserts an enumeration in the current folder.
	Insert Record	Inserts a record in the current folder.
	Insert Container	Inserts a container in the current folder.
	Edit Views	Opens the Views window.
	Options	Opens the ASCET options window.
	Open Online Help	Opens the ASCET Online Help.

Search Toolbar

	Search – <criterion>	Searches the database for a search string, using a defineable search criterion. The search criterion was previously selected via the button
		The arrow can be used to select the search criterion.

Navigation Toolbar

	Back	Goes to the previous item that was opened during the current ASCET session.
	Forward	Goes to the next item that was opened during the current ASCET session.

	Go to	Goes to the item specified in the input field.
