      Closedolder versions

      Note

You can export enumerations with negative values or non-consecutive values only in AMD format V6.2.* and higher. An AMD format V6.1.4 or older will result in an export error.

You can export models with non-scalar messages only in AMD format V6.4.0 or higher. An AMD format V6.3.* or older will result in an export error.

Features not available in the selected older version will be lost.

  6. Click OK to start the export.

If you selected an existing export file or folder, a warning is issued. Confirm with Okay to overwrite existing files/folders.

If problems are found during AMD/AXL export, the Export Problems window opens. ClosedContinue as follows.

The Export Problems window lists all problems and – if available – the respective automatic solutions.

    1. Click OK to continue the import.

For AMD export, all automatic solutions are applied, and items without errors are exported.

For AXL export, all automatic solutions are applied, and items are exported only if no error was found. If one or more errors were found, the export aborts due to unfixed problems.

    2. Click Cancel to abort the entire export.

You cannot abort the export of selected components only.

The objects are exported to the file and folder you selected, with Closedone exception.

If duplicate paths, i.e. items with identical name and path, but different OID, are detected during AMD export, an error window opens that lists the affected items and asks you to rename them. The export is aborted.

    1. Confirm the error message with OK.
    2. Rename the duplicate items/paths.
    3. Restart the export.

During binary export, generated code of read-protected components is included in the *.exp file.

Note

When you export items on a one file for each item basis, or when you use AMD export including referenced items, you should export to an empty directory to keep your exported files manageable. ASCET automatically exports to the directory specified in Default Export Path.
