Compare Configuration Against (X)ETK Device

You can compare the active configurationClosed A configuration is the virtual representation of all settings of an (X)ETK device. It is always assigned to one specific (X)ETK device type and always exists as part of a project. An (X)ETK configuration is valid, if it represents an (X)ETK device in that way that it works together with the ECU properly. in the (X)ETK Configuration Tool with the configuration of a linked (X)ETK device. An (X)ETK device is linked to a configuration if the configuration has been uploaded from or downloaded to the (X)ETK device. Differences are visualized with the colour red. To compare a configuration against the configuration of the (X)ETK device:

  1. In the Configuration Window, click on the Hardware settings tab.
  2. Click into the Show differences drop down list and select Hardware configuration.
    The XETK Configuration Tool shows the differences between the active configuration and the (X)ETK device in red.
     

After linking the (X)ETK device via upload or download, the Hardware device field in the Configuration Window displays the product name and the serial number of the (X)ETK device. If the field is empty, the comparison can not be executed.
