Upload from (X)ETK Device as a new Project

The XETK Configuration Tool creates a new project file with one configuration where the configuration A configuration is the virtual representation of all settings of an (X)ETK device. It is always assigned to one specific (X)ETK device type and always exists as part of a project. An (X)ETK configuration is valid, if it represents an (X)ETK device in that way that it works together with the ECU properly. data of the (X)ETK device is copied into. To upload a configuration as a new project:

In the Hardware menu, click on Upload as new project.
A new tab of the uploaded configuration is displayed in the Configuration Window.

Configuration tabs of different projects have different colors.
