Activating and Deactivating Hardware Modules
To save time during hardware initialization, unused hardware modules can be deactivated.
To deactivate a module
- In the Hardware Configuration window, right click on the module.
- In the context menu of the module, deactivate Active.
The hardware module and all dependent devices are greyed out. Additionally, in the Hardware Configuration tool pane, 
indicates that some hardware modules are deactivated.
Additionally, dependent variables and objects of deactivated modules in other INCA windows are greyed out as well.
To activate a deactivated module
- In the Hardware Configuration window, right click on the greyed-out module.
- In the context menu of the module, activate Active.
The hardware module and all dependent devices, objects, and variables are not greyed out any more.
To activate all deactivated modules at once
In the Hardware Configuration tool pane, click and choose All Hardware Active. The
icon indicates that all hardware modules are activated.
