Searching for Hardware of the Same Type

To search in INCA for connected hardware of the same type and linked to the local ETAS network:

In the Hardware menu, select Search for Hardware.
An interface selection dialog box opens.
Mark the Ethernet check box.
To save your settings for the next search, mark the Skip host interface selection on next search check box. The interface selection dialog box is not displayed at the next search.
Click OK.
An indication message is displayed during the search.
If any hardware is found, the Hardware Mapping dialog box opens. If the serial numbers or the internal names (aliases) of connected devices of the same type are identical, INCA automatically suggests suitable connections in the Connected field. You can accept the suggestions or change the connections.
Click OK.
