Adding All Variables of a Function / Group

To add all variables of a function / group from the source dataset:

  1. Check that you are working in function mode.
  2. In the Variables menu, select Add.

    The Select variables dialog box opens.

  3. Select one or more devices from the Sources list.
  4. Select a function / group from the Data list.

    The function / group is marked with a symbol in the list.

  5. Click OK.

    The selected function / group with all its variables and any subfunctions / subgroups is added to the Variables & functions to process list.

    If you enable instant comparison in the settings, the variables are compared with the variables of the active destination datasets. The results of the instant comparison are displayed as icons next to the variables.

    Additionally, the values and units are specified in brackets next to the scalar variables.
