Setting ASCET Options

Do one of the following:
- In the Component Manager or component editor, open the Tools menu and select Options.
- Click the Options button.
The ASCET options window ("Options" window) opens. The options are ordered by topic, each topic is represented as a node in the tree view on the left in the "Options" window.
Select the required node to make the settings for ASCET.
Some options appear as radio buttons, input fields, or combo boxes. Other options show a , , or button next to their names; this button opens another dialog window.
Make the new setting as appropriate for the respective control element.
Options which have been changed are indicated by an *, options with a setting other than the default one are displayed in bold.
You can set options successively in different nodes of the "Options" window.
Click the System Defaults button to restore the default settings for the current node and its subnodes.
When you have made all settings, click OK.
The settings are applied, and the "Options" window is closed.

Note
Some new settings may not take effect immediately. If, for example, you modify the list font for the ASCET user interface, this does not affect any windows that are already open. You must close the window and reopen it for the new settings to take effect.
