Block Library Editor – Window Elements

This window contains the following window elements:

File menu

Category menu

Items menu

Toolbar

Database or Workspace pane

• Items field

  The folders and items contained in the current database/workspace are displayed here. The database/workspace name is the root of the tree structure. You can use the Add to Block Library context menu to add items to a block library category.

• Comment field

  This field displays any notes or internal comments on the current item (or folder, if available). You can edit existing notes or add new ones.

"Block Library" pane

• Categories list

  This list displays the block library categories. You can use the context menu or the Category menu to add, delete, or rename categories, or select an export file containing the block library elements of this category.

• Items field

  This list displays the items in the selected block diagram category. You can use the context menu or the Items menu to delete a block library element, move it to another category, or select an export file containing the block library element.

• preview field

  This field shows the layout of the block library element selected in the Items field.
