Managing Block Library Items

You can move block library items from one category to another, and you can delete selected items from the block library.

1. In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu and select Block Library to open the block library editor.
2. In the block library editor, Categories list, select the category that contains the desired items.
3. In the Items field, select the desired items.

4. In the Items menu, select Delete to delete the selected items from the block library.

   Note
   The Delete and Move to Category commands are also available in the context menu of the Items field.

5. In the Items menu, select Move to Category to move the selected items to another category.

   Note
   An item can appear only once in each category. It is impossible to move an item to a category that contains an item with the same OID. Items with identical names, but different OIDs, are allowed.

   The Select Category window opens.

6. From the Category combo box, select the category to which you what to add the components.

7. Click OK to close the Select Category window.

   The selected items are moved to the selected category.
