Setting a Load Path

You can assign an export file containing the respective component to each block library item. When the block library is used in a database/workspace that does not contain the component, it is imported automatically.

Note
The block library editor provides no possibility to export ASCET components. You must create the necessary export files as described in Exporting a Folder or Database/Workspace Item.

Create the necessary export files.
In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu and select Block Library to open the block library editor.
In the block library editor, Categories list, select the category that contains the desired item.
In the Items field, select the desired item.
Right-click the selected item and select Load Path from the context menu.
A file selection window opens.
Select the export file you want to assign and click Open.
The export file is assigned to the selected item.
