Adding Items to the Block Library
Two ways exist to add items to the block library: via
the "Database" or "Workspace" field of the component manager or via the block library editor.
An item can appear only once in each category. Adding the same item (identical OID) a second time is impossible. Items with identical names, but different OIDs, are allowed. |
Adding items via the "Database"/"Workspace" field
This way, items can be added only to the currently loaded block library. |
In the "Database" or "Workspace" list of the
Component Manager, select the component(s)
you want to add to the block library.
The following components can be added: all kinds of classes,
modules, records, software components, AUTOSAR interfaces.
You can also select one or more folders to add the entire
possible folder content to the block library. Other folder elements than
the ones mentioned above are ignored.
Do one of the following:
- From the context menu in the "Database" or "Workspace" list, select Add to Block Library
