Creating and Managing Categories
Block library categories are created and managed in the block library editor.
Category names must be unique. You cannot create two categories with identical names. |
Adding a category
In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu and select Block Library to open the block library editor.
Do one of the following:
- In the block library editor, open the Category menu and select Add.
- Right-click in the Categories list and select Add from the context menu.
You are prompted for a name for the new category.
Enter a name and click OK.
The category is created and added to the Categories list.
Renaming a category
In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu and select Block Library to open the block library editor.
In the Categories list of the block library editor, select the category you want to rename.
Do one of the following:
- From the Category menu, select Rename.
- Right-click in the Categories list and select Rename from the context menu.
The category name is highlighted.
Enter a name and press <Return>.
The category is renamed.
Deleting a category
In the Component Manager, open the Tools menu and select Block Library to open the block library editor.
In the Categories list of the block library editor, select the category or categories you want to delete.
Do one of the following:
- From the Category menu, select Delete.
- Right-click in the Categories list and select Delete from the context menu.
The selected categories are deleted. Their items are no longer available in the block library.
