Specification view
This view is used for component specification. It is selected via the Specification tab at the right-hand side of the editor window. In the block diagram editor, the Specification view is also called drawing area.
The size of the drawing area can be adjusted in the Paper Size node of the ASCET options window. Keep the following in mind: If you select a size larger than the fixed size (2000 x 2000 px) of previous ASCET versions (V5.2.0 and earlier), and use the larger area for modeling, the component cannot be completely displayed in older versions. Elements outside the drawing area cannot be deleted from the component because you cannot remove their graphical occurrences from the drawing area.
This view is used for component specification. It is opened via the Browse tab at the right-hand side of the editor window.
status bar
The status bar contains information on the element currently selected in the Outline tab (if the Mouse Over option on the Editors node of the ASCET options is deactivated) or on the element in the Outline tab or the drawing area the mouse is currently placed on (if the Mouse Over option is activated).
