Editor Options

In the Editors node, you can make settings for different editors, measure windows, and calibration windows.

Global Sort Order

Activates/deactivates the use of a global sort order in the element list of all editors.

Mouse Over Info

If activated, element information is shown in the status bar when the mouse is over an element. If deactivated, the status bar shows information on the currently selected element.

Word Wrap in Notes

Activates/deactivates line break in the notes editor.

Use signed/unsigned discrete types

If deactivated (default), Elements toolbars and palettes in the editors display buttons that create integer elements of the limitInt and wrapInt types introduced in ASCET V6.4.

If activated, the Elements toolbars and palettes in the editors display buttons that create integer elements of sdisc and udisc types (the only integer types in ASCET V6.3 and older).

Toolbar Icon Size (px)

Sets the size of the icons used in toolbars (not in palettes) to 16, 24, or 32 px2.

Palette Icon Size (px)

Sets the size of the icons used in palettes (not in toolbars) to 16, 24, or 32 px2.

Settings that belong to a particular editor are stored in subnodes:

• Block Diagram Options

• Calibration Node

  In the Calibration node and its subnodes, you determine default settings for calibration windows. These settings, and others, can be changed in the setup for individual calibration windows.

  In the Measurement node and its subnodes, you determine default settings for measurement windows. These settings, and others, can be changed in the setup for individual measurement windows.

• Signal Editor Node

  This node contains options for the ASCET signal editor.

  This node contains options for the software component editors.

• Table Options

  This node contains options to set cell background colors for Boolean tables and conditional tables.
