Tree Pane
The Tree Pane contains the following tabs and filter functions:
Outline
In this tab all elements of the component self:<component name> are listed. Also you find all methods and processes in this tab.
For a better handling of these elements you can use several filters and a search function:

| Changes the criteria of sort. |
| Expands the trees in the "Outline" |
| Collapses the trees in the "Outline" |
| Runs a search in the "Outline" |
Navigation
In this tab, all graphical elements selected in the Navigation Tree node of the ASCET options dialog are listed in a tree view named Graphic Blocks. Elements with multiple occurrences in the diagram are listed several times. A click on a node in the Graphic Blocks tree highlights the occurrence of the element.
Elements used in a method or process are displayed below the Sequence Calls tree, as subnodes of the method or process. The whole hierarchy of block-local sequence calls in a statement block is shown, as well as the outgoing control flow of control-flow elements. Some examples are given here.
A click on a node in the Sequence Calls tree highlights the occurrence of the element.

Database / Workspace
The upper part of this tab displays folders and items contained in the current database/workspace. The database/workspace name is the root of the tree structure. Each database/workspace contains one or more folders, which in turn contain other folders and items.
The lower part of the tab displays any notes or internal comments on the item currently selected in the upper part.
