Hardware Status List
The Hardware Status List shows the status parameters. In detail these parameters are:
ECU Page
Shows which page is currently activated.
- Reference Page: The Reference Page is activated.
-
Working Page: The Working Page is activated.
ECU page switching is not supported for all (X)ETK devices. For devices not supporting page switching, it is device configuration dependant which page is available.
Example: the XETK-V2 can be setup in a way that there is no page switch and only the Reference Page is available.
Page Initialization
Shows the status of the page initialization.
- Initialized from backup flash: The working page and the reference page contain the calibration data from the backup flash.
- Not initialized from backup flash: Working page and reference page contain random data.
- Write access after initialization from backup flash: The calibration data have been modified by the measurement and calibration tool.
- Unknown: No statement because information is faulty.
ECU Ignition
Shows the ECU ignition status.
- On: Ignition is 'On'.
- Off: Ignition is 'Off.
- Unknown: No statement because information is faulty.
Calibration Data
Shows the Calibration Data status.
- Initialized from backup flash: Only calibration data from (backup) flash are available.
- Modified: Calibration data has been modified by the measurement and calibration tool.
- Unknown: No statement because information is faulty.
ECU Reset
Shows states of a ECU Reset.
- Not driven by XETK: The XETK device does not cause an ECU Reset. It is unknown if there is an ECU Reset.
- Driven by XETK: The XETK device causes an ECU Reset.
- Driven by external source: An external source causes an ECU Reset.
- Unknown: No statement because information is faulty.
Microcontroller Type
Shows the type of the microcontroller the (X)ETK is connected to.
ECU Handshake
Shows the status of the handshake between the ECU and the (X)ETK. Possible states are:
- Performed
- Not Performed
- Performed by Timeout
- Unknown
This parameter is displayed only for serial (X)ETKs.
Trace Interface Status
Shows states of the trace interface. Possibles states are:
- Not supported
- Link in Reset
- Signal on link received
- Physical layer established (PLL locked)
- Link up
- Link communication error
During the initialization phase, the trace interface state will move through the states in order:
- Link in Reset
- Signal of Link received
- Physical layer established
- Link up
If a problem occurs during initialization, the last successful state will be displayed. If an error occurs after the initialization is complete “Link communication Error” will be displayed. The state “Not supported” indicates that the firmware version does not send the trace interface status, and can be resolved through a HSP update.
This parameter is displayed only for the FETK-T1.0
