Flash Programming Tab

The Flash Programming tab is not available for all XETK types.

The Flash Programming tab shows a tabular view of the Flash programming settings. These settings, which are stored in 3 different files, can be imported from your PC and apply only to the active configuration. They can not be edited in the XETK Configuration Tool.

The Flash programming settings get downloaded to the XETK device together with the Hardware configuration.

Show Differences

This function enables you to compare the Flash programming settings of two loaded configurations. Only configurations of the same XETK type can be compared. The XETK Configuration Tool marks the differences between two configurations in red. Alternatively, you can compare the active configuration in the XETK Configuration Tool with the configuration of a linked XETK device.

Parameter table

A table with three columns is used to display the Flash programming settings. The cells in the middle column display the name of the Flash programming parameters. The cells in the right column list their current values.

In case of errors and warnings, the cells in the left column display a status information symbol. When you keep the mouse placed over the concerned symbol, the tool tip function shows system messages, e.g. the reason for an occurring conflict.

Import Flash Configuration

With this function you can import a Flash configuration from your local disk. The Flash configuration consists of 3 files which must be located in the same folder. Select the folder containing the configuration files and click OK to import the Flash programming settings into the current configuration. The Flash programming settings will be displayed in the tabular view.

Clear Flash Configuration

With this function you can remove the imported Flash programming files from the current configuration, thus removing the Flash programming settings. The files which were used for importing the Flash configuration remain in their original location.
