Set ECU Reset
In the XETK Configuration Tool you can switch between the ECU states reset 'On' and 'Off'. Reset 'On' means to put the ECU into the reset state. The corresponding toggle menu item has two states:
- Set ECU Reset 'On': The (X)ETK device causes an ECU Reset.
- Set ECU Reset 'Off': The (X)ETK device does not cause an ECU Reset. It is unknown if there is an ECU Reset.
In the Reset 'On' state the ECU does not work. To set the ECU into the Reset state 'On':
- Check the value of the ECU Reset field in the Hardware Status List.
- In the Hardware menu, click on Set ECU Reset On.
The dialog 'Reset ECU microcontroller - Do you really want to change the reset status of the ECU microcontroller?' opens. - Confirm the dialog by clicking on the Yes button.
To set the ECU into the Reset state 'Off':
- Check the value of the ECU Reset field in the Hardware Status List.
