Starting the HEX Editor

To open datasets or code pages in the HEX editor:

In the Devices field, select the devices for which you want to perform the selected action.
In the Action field, activate HEX view.
In the Apply to field, activate the corresponding setting:
- Data to display the datasets
- Code + Data to display the datasets and the code page
In the Page 1 field, highlight the corresponding setting
- Working page to open the working dataset
- Reference page to open the reference dataset
- Code page to open the code page of the INCA database
- DPR to open the DPR of the ECU (to do this you first have to check the Calibration access box)
If necessary, activate or deactivate the ECU group in the Device group active field.
Check the settings from the visual display of the selected action:
The selected page is underlaid blue.
Click Do It.
The HEX editor window is opened for the selected pages.
