Applying a Configuration

You can have offline device configurations both in the Daisy Chain configuration program and in the memory of the devices themselves. If you want to take over the parameter settings that are stored in the device memory into the parameter settings in the Daisy Chain configuration program, you explicitly have to apply them.

Before you can apply the configuration, you need to upload it from the device memory or make a search for hardware with the configuration preview being activated.

To apply the settings saved in the device memory to the device configuration in the Daisy Chain configuration program:

Select the device in the Topology list whose configuration you would like to apply.
In the Device menu, select Apply configuration.

The parameter values from the device memory are written into the offline configuration in the Daisy Chain configuration program. The symbol in the Topology list indicates that the configurations are now identical.
