Previewing Stored Configurations

The ES4xx and ES63x measurement modules contain their own memory where parameter settings can be stored. You can determine whether you only want to see the configurations that are activated in the devices or also the configurations that are saved in the devices' memory.

To display in the configuration program the device configurations that are stored in the device memory:

  1. In the View menu, select Preview Stored Configurations.

As soon as you search for hardware, it is displayed in the Topology tree view directly below the configuration that is currently set in the Daisy Chain configuration program. A symbol indicates whether the parameter settings in the device memory and the Daisy Chain configuration program are identical or different:

The configurations are identical.

The configurations are different.
The upper item in the Topology tree represents the parameter values that are set in the Daisy Chain configuration program. The item below in the Topology tree represents the values that are stored in the device memory.
The parameter values that are different in these two representations are displayed in red.

Note

If you want to take over the parameter settings from the device memory into the device configuration in the Daisy Chain configuration program, you explicitly have to apply them.
