Block Diagram Editor for Software Components – Window Elements

The block diagram editor for software components contains the following window elements:

1. Menu Bar

2. Toolbar with following function blocks:

   • Basic Blocks
   • General
   • Elements

3. Tree pane with the following tabs:

   • Outline
   • Navigation
   • Database / Workspace

4. View area contains following tabs and fields:

   • Specification (includes the Search Results view)
   • Browse
   • Event Specification
   • Parameter Mapping
   • Message Mapping
   • NV-Data Mapping View

5. Palette Pane contains following palettes:

   • Elements
   • Basic Blocks
   • Library

6. Status bar

   The status bar contains information on the element currently selected in the Outline tab (if the Mouse Over option on the Editors node of the ASCET options is deactivated) or on the element in the Outline tab or the drawing area the mouse is currently placed on (if the Mouse Over option is activated).
