Elements tab

This tab corresponds largely to the element view of the Component Manager.

The Elements Referencing * version in the block diagram editor for software components has an additional column, Found in Dataset. If applicable, this column contains the name(s) of the dataset(s) where the referenced element was found.

EXAMPLE
A component contains an interrunnable variable array_Interrunnable, which determines the value of the explicit reference arrayRef in dataset Data. If the Search Results view is opened with the Show Referencing Elements option from the context menu of array_Interrunnable, arrayRef appears in the list with the following entry in column Found in Dataset:

Data tab
This tab corresponds to the data view of the Component Manager.
Implementation tab
This tab corresponds to the implementation view of the Component Manager.
context menus
The context menus of the Search Results view contain largely the same context menu options as the tabs in the Browse view.
- For the Search Result version, the context menu in the Elements tab contains the following additional option.
  - Go To
    Selects the element in the Outline tab of the project editor. If the element is an included component, its sub-tree is expanded.
- For the Elements Referencing * version in the block diagram editor for software components, the context menu in the Elements tab contains the following additional options.
  - Distribution
    Opens the Distributions for dialog window for the selected group characteristic curve or map.
  - Show Referencing Elements
    Displays all elements in the component that reference the selected element.
