Mapping Menu

Note

This menu is only available if you are working in the Parameter Mapping, Message Mapping, or NV-Data Mapping view.

This menu contains the following functions:

Edit

Opens the list of available calibration parameters / interrunnable variables for selection. Only available when you have selected a cell in the Calibration Parameter / Variable / NV-Data Interface elements column of the Mapped field.

Remove (<Delete>)

Note

Only available if you have selected a cell or a complete entry in the Mapped field.

Removes an existing mapping.

Remove All

Removes all existing mappings.

Revert Changes

Reverts unsaved mapping changes.

Toggle Pages (<Ctrl> + <Shift> + <t>)

Note

Only available in the Message Mapping view.

Switches between the Internal Access and External Access tabs.

Create Interrunnable

Note

Only available in the Internal Access tab of the Message Mapping view.

Creates a new interrunnable variable for a selected message, and maps it.

Auto-Mapping

Parameter mapping: Maps all unmapped imported parameters to calibration parameters with identical type and names that match the pattern in the combo box.

Message mapping: Maps all unmapped messages to interrunnable variables (Internal Access) or SenderReceiver interface elements (External Access) with identical type and names that match the pattern in the combo box.

NV data mapping: Maps all unmapped non-volatile variables to NVData interface elements with identical type and names that match the pattern in the combo box.

Export

Opens the Export Settings dialog window where you can export mappings to an *.xml or *.csv file.

Import

Imports mappings from an *.xml or *.csv file.

Convert to NV-Data Mapping

Note

Only available in the External Access tab of the Message Mapping view if mappings of messages to NVData interface elements exist.

Converts mappings of messages to NVData interface elements to NV data mappings.

Create ASCET Link

Creates an ASCET link for the selected source or target of a mapping, or the selected entire mapping, in the Mapping fields of the Parameter Mapping, Message Mapping, and NV-Data Mapping views. The link opens the component in the software component editor, opens the respective * Mapping view (and sub-view, if necessary) and highlights the mapping part or mapping.
