Promoting Information and Warnings (Configuration Windows)

Note
AMD/AXL import messages can be promoted only on a global level.

Open a CodeGen Message Configuration window.
Promotions entered in the global CodeGen Message Configuration window apply to all projects in the database/workspace.
Select one or more messages you want to promote.
From the context menu, select Promote to warning or Promote to error.
Close the CodeGen Message Configuration window with OK.
The messages of the type selected are counted as warnings or error messages from the next time code is generated and shown accordingly in the Messages tab.
Promoted messages are indicated with special icons in the list field.

Note
By default, global message configurations override project-specific message configurations.
