Import A2L File

This function offers the possibility to import files of the standard exchange format 'A2L' (ASAM MCD-2MC). Standard A2L files contain one or more (X)ETK device configurations. It can be seen as a project file of a different file format. The XETK Configuration Tool reads an A2L file and extracts the data used for an (X)ETK configuration. To import an A2L file:

1. In the File menu, click Import A2L File.
2. On your file system, select the A2L file you would like to import.
3. Click on the Open button.
   The Import A2L File busy window is displayed during the import. A new project is created in the Configuration Window.
