Adding Configuration Comments

You can enter additional information for the configuration. For example, you can explain how this configuration should be used by others.

1. In the Configuration Manager, right-click the configuration and select About Configuration. Alternatively, press Ctrl+I.

   The Information Window opens.

2. Enter your comment (up to 10,000 characters).

   Note that if you select a measure file in the File Explorer or a signal in the Configuration Manager before pressing the shortcut keys, then the metadata of the measure file or signal is displayed.    If a configuration comment was entered and the Information window does no longer have the focus, an icon is shown at the configuration node in the Configuration Manager.
