Vector VN1670
The VN1670 is a multi-channel CAN and LIN interface with up to 15 channels. It provides digital and analog I/O interfaces. The interface can be connected to the host computer via USB or Ethernet.

The configuration of the LIN interface is possible only if the add-on INCA-LIN is also installed. Depending upon usage of CAN, CAN FD, or LIN, you require the appropriate connecting cable for the VN1670. The operation of the VN1670 requires a computer driver which is provided with the hardware by the hardware manufacturer. To use the hardware in INCA, you need an ETAS subscription software license. |

INCA supports up to four VN1670 modules simultaneously.
Module parameters
Parameters tabNameEnter any name for the hardware module.
Serial numberShows the serial number read from the device.
If the hardware is not connected or if it was not found during the hardware search, enter the complete number by hand (it can be found on the device).
The serial number must be entered as it is needed by INCA to identify the device. The serial number is stored in the hardware configuration.
Firmware VersionShows the firmware version of the connected hardware module.
INCA hardware communicationShows the hardware connection between the hardware and the PC.
