Vector VN1611
The Vector VN1611 supports the application via the CAN interface of an ECU as well as captures and records communication data on the network for CAN. The VN1611 is connected to the computer via USB.
The configuration of the LIN interface is possible only if the add-on INCA-LIN was also installed.
Depending upon usage (CAN or LIN), you require the appropriate connecting cable for the VN1611.
The operation of the VN1611 requires a computer driver which is provided with the hardware by the hardware manufacturer.
The operation of the VN1611 with ETAS software must be enabled by ETAS. Please contact your local sales representative to get the enabling key.
System limits
The VN1611 module provides 1 CAN and 1 LIN interface.
INCA supports up to four VN1611 modules simultaneously.
Module parameters
Enter any name for the hardware module.
Shows the serial number read from the device.
If the hardware is not connected or if it was not found during the hardware search, enter the complete number by hand (it can be found on the device).
The serial number must be entered as it is needed by INCA to identify the device. The serial number is stored in the hardware configuration.
Shows the firmware version of the connected hardware module.
