Starting the Interface

You start the ASAM MCD 3MC interface via INCA. To use the procedural standard ASAP3 / iLinkRT V2.0 or iLinkRT V3.0, you first have to select the interface in the INCA User Options.

To start the ASAP3 / iLinkRT V2.0 interface:

In the INCA Database Manager , click > General tab > ASAM-MCD 3MC interface version > ASAP3 / iLinkRT V2.0.
Click Ok.
Start an experiment in the INCA Experiment Environment .
In the Components menu of the Experiment Environment, select ASAM-MCD 3MC - Open ASAM-3MC Interface.
When you first start the ASAP3 / iLinkRT V2.0 interface, the Establish Connection dialog box opens. Enter the connection parameters to establish a connection.
The ASAM MCD 3MC window opens. If the connection can be made to the test bench, the status line displays Online.

To start the iLinkRT V3.0 interface:

In the INCA Database Manager , click > General tab > ASAM-MCD 3MC interface version > iLinkRT V3.0.
Click Ok.
In the Utilities menu, select ASAM-3MC - Open ASAM-3MC Interface
or
Start an experiment in the INCA Experiment Environment and in the Components menu, select ASAM-3MC - Open ASAM-3MC Interface.
The ASAM MCD 3MC window opens. The status line displays Ready.
When you first start the iLinkRT V3.0 interface, the Establish Connection dialog box opens. Enter the connection parameters to establish a connection, see Establish Connection Dialog Box.
The ASAM MCD 3MC window opens. If the connection can be made to the test bench, the status line displays Online.
