Establish Connection Dialog Box
To open this dialog box, in the Connection menu select Establish Connection.
This dialog box contains the following fields and buttons:
Use IPv6
Activates the use of an IPv6 address. If the checkbox is deactivated, IPv4 is used as standard IP address.
ASAP3
RS232 / V.24 connection ("Serial")

Defines that the connection to the test bench is established via a serial interface.
Port
Defines the serial interface.
Baud rate
Defines the baud rate for the serial connection.
Network connection
Defines that the connection to the test bench is established via a network card or network link.
Network card
Defines the network card via which the connection to the test bench is established.
Local network address
Defines a local network address to establish a connection to the test bench.
Local address
Defines a local address to establish a connection to the test bench.
Local port
Defines the port for ASAP3 connection.
iLinkRT Commands
Network card
Defines the network card via which the connection
to the test bench is established.
Useful when no static address available, for example, DHCP.

Defines a local address to establish the command connection to the test bench
Local port
Defines the port for iLinkRT command connection.
iLinkRT Get All Server
Version
Select the iLinkRT protocol version number.
Broadcast / Mulitcast address
Defines the IP address to be used for Get All Server and its responses.
Local port
Defines the port for iLinkRT Get All Server connection RT_GET_ALL_SERVER.
iLinkRT Measurement / Events
Use unicast
Defines that unicast sending is used instead of multicast.
Multicast address
Defines the IP address to be used for multi cast (unicast) measurement / event sending.
Local / Multicast port
Defines the UDP port to be used for measurement / event sending.
iLinkRT V3 Watchdog

Defines the maximum time allowed between two commands sent by the client. Valid values are between 1 and 1000 seconds. To disable the watchdog, enter 0.
Establish Connection
Establishes the connection and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without establishing the connection.
