Inserting an Enumeration

In the Elements palette or toolbar, click the Enumeration Variable or Enumeration Parameter button.
The Enumeration Selection window opens.
All enumeration types defined in the database/workspace are displayed in the Enumeration Type combo box.
Select an enumeration type from the combo box.
Click OK to close the selection window.
In the Outline tab, a new element is added. The properties editor is opened.
If you do not want to open the properties editor upon an element’s creation, deactivate the Always Show Editor for new Elements option at the bottom of the editor.
You can revoke this setting in the ASCET options window, Confirmation Dialogs node.
Adjust the element’s properties according to your needs and close the properties editor with OK.
If you are working in the block diagram editor for SWCs, click inside the drawing area to place the new element.
This positions the enumeration.

You can change the properties of an element later via re-opening the properties editor.
