Changing the Appearance of an SWC Item
Note |
|---|
This topic applies only to SWCs specified as block diagrams. |
To change the appearance of a certain graphical occurrence of a diagram item, proceed as follows:
- Drag the name of the element's graphical occurrence to the place where you want it to appear.
- In the context menu of an element, use the Fill Color menu option to select a color to fill the background of the respective item.
- In the context menu of an array, matrix or characteristic line/map, use the Get/Set Ports menu option to show or hide the get and set pins of the occurrence.
- Drag the name of the component's graphical occurrence to the place where you want it to appear.
In the context menu of an included component, point to Ports and select Unconnected Ports to show or hide unconnected ports of the graphical occurrence.
This way, ports are only hidden, not removed. Operations like Minimal Size behave as if the ports were visible.
- In the context menu of an included component, point to Ports and select Get/Set to show or hide the get and set pins of the graphical occurrence.
- Right-click a port and select Pin Names <pin name> from the context menu to show/hide the display of the port name.
Right-click a port with a sequence call and select Sequence Call from the context menu to show/hide the display of the sequence call.
Note
If flexible layout is activated (see Layout of Included Components), the following possibilities are also available.
- Use the mouse to drag the port you want to move to the required position.
- In the context menu of an included component, point to Layout and then select Attributes to open the Layout Settings window.
In the Layout Settings window, do the following:
In the Visibility area of the Layout Settings window, choose the attributes to be displayed within the respective diagram item in the drawing area.
- Name of Pins
- Icon
- Name of Component, i.e. the name in the block
- Element Name, i.e. the name below the block.
In the Size area, set the Horizontal and Vertical size of the item.
The Set Minimal Size Button reduces its size to the minimum.
- In the Fill Color area, select a color to fill the background of the respective item.
- Click OK to close the Layout Settings window and accept the settings.
In the context menu of the included component, point to Layout and click Set Attributes as Default to make your individual layout of the included its default layout.
The default layout is adapted by every graphical occurrence of the respective item.
