Using Changes as a New Default Layout

This procedure is only relevant if flexible layout is activated (see Layout of Included Components).

If you want to use a modified layout of a graphical occurrence as the new default layout, proceed as follows.

In the context menu of the graphical occurrence, point to Layout and select Set Attributes as Defaults.
The following query is displayed:
Do you want to use the current layout as the default layout for all future occurrences of this class?
Confirm with OK.
The modified layout is now the new default layout. It is available in the layout editor of the component.
If you create new graphical occurrences of the component, the new default layout is used. Existing graphical occurrences in diagrams, however, are not updated.
