Editing a Default Project

  1. Open the component whose default project you want to edit.
  2. In the Extras menu of the component editor, point to Default Project and select Open.

    The project editor opens for the default project.

  3. In the Extras menu of the component editor, point to Default Project and select Resolve Globals.

    A global element is created for each imported element in the component for which there is no exported element (see Defining Global Communication).

    The project editor is not opened.

  4. In the Extras menu of the component editor, point to Default Project and select Delete Unused Globals.

    Global elements not used in the component are deleted from the component’s default project.
