Default Project for a Component

A test or default project is created for all components created with a specification editor, except AUTOSAR interfaces and records. However, the default project does not appear in the Component Manager, as it is created automatically together with its component. The default project is set up in the project editor and this also includes experimenting with the default project.

In a workspace, default projects are stored next to their component on the Windows file system, in the form of *.dp.amd files.
