Text Options

The options in the Text node concern the editors for C code and ESDL components, but not the state editor or transition editor.

Tabulator Size

Size of the tabulator in the text editors.

Replace All New Tabs with Blanks

If activated, a newly inserted tab is replaced with blanks automatically. The number of blanks is given in Tabulator Size.

Automatic Indentation

Number of blanks to indent new lines.

Enable Auto Completion for Local Elements

If activated, names of component elements are completed automatically. This option has no effect on names of included components, arguments, return values and local variables in methods and processes.

Enable Folding

Activates/deactivates folding for blocks of code.

Insert Closing Brackets Automatically

If activated, closing braces, square brackets and parentheses – }, ], ) – are inserted automatically.

Track Source Code Changes

If activated, changed lines are marked with a change bar.

Show Line Numbers

If activated, line numbers are shown in the text editor.

Show Whitespace

If activated, blanks are made visible.

The Syntax Highlighting subnode contains settings for syntax highlighting in C code and ESDL editors. For the meaning of those options, refer to the descriptions in the Options window.
