Revoking a Promotion (Monitor Window)

If a promoted message is displayed in the Messages tab, you can revoke or ignore the promotion.

Right-click a promoted message in the Messages tab.
To revoke a project-specific promotion, select Revoke Promotion from the context menu.

To ignore a global promotion for the current project, select Ignore Global Promotion from the context menu.

Ignore Global Promotion does not affect other projects. To completely revoke a global promotion, you must revoke it in the global CodeGen Message Configuration window. You cannot ignore global promotions of AMD/AXL import messages.

At the next code generation, messages with the selected identifier are once again displayed in their original form.
