Export Options
The Export node allows you to specify in which way and to what extent the selected database/workspace items will be exported. In this way, you can store individual data sets as separate files and specify that the referenced entries will be exported as well.
The Export node contains the following options:
Default Export Format
Selects the export format that is preselected when you start an export. Available selections are:
- ASCET Export files (*.exp) – see also Binary Export
- ASCET compressed Model Data files (*.axl) – see also AMD/AXL Export
- ASCET Model Data files (*.amd)
Include Referenced Items
Activates/deactivates recursive export.
EXP Format area
One File for each Item
Activates/deactivates export of items in separate files.
AMD/AXL Format area
AMD Format Version
Allows the selection of the
AMD format version used for export. Information not available in the selected format version is dropped.
Create Complete Hierarchy
Specifies whether the exported files are stored in a directory structure which reflects the folder structure of the ASCET database during AMD export.
Export Experiment Environment
Specifies whether the experiment environment is exported together with the component.
Export Default Projects
Specifies whether the default project of a component is exported together with the component.
Encryption Key
Key for file encryption during AMD export.
Write Log File
Writes all messages, errors and warnings into a log file.
The Dependent Parameter subnode contains options that affect the way dependent parameters are treated during export. For the meaning of those options, refer to the descriptions in the Options window.
