Hiding Messages

Note

Error messages cannot be hidden (even if they are promoted warnings or promoted information).

AMD/AXL import messages can only be hidden in the global CodeGen Message Configuration window.

In the CodeGen Message Configuration windows, you can hide code generation messages.

  1. Open a CodeGen Message Configuration window.
  2. Select one or more messages you want to hide.

  3. Right-click the selection and select Hide from the context menu.

    Hidden messages are indicated with paler icons in the list field: /

  4. Close the CodeGen Message Configuration window with OK.

    All messages of the selected IDs are hidden in the Messages tab of the monitor window.

    The number of messages displayed in the footer of the monitor window is adjusted.

    If you hide all messages, a green dot is shown at the left of the footer. The number as well as the colored icons in the display field indicate there are hidden messages.
