Hiding Messages (Monitor Window)

You can hide code generation messages of the same identifier to keep the display clearer or to analyze one specific type of message. Import messages can only be hidden globally; see Hiding Messages.

Note
Error messages (even if they are promoted warnings or promoted information) and AMD/AXL import messages cannot be hidden in the Monitor window.

Right-click a message you want to hide in the Messages tab.
Select Hide from the context menu.
All messages of the selected ID are hidden. The number of messages displayed in the footer of the monitor window is adjusted.
If you hide all information messages and warnings, and no error message occurred, a green symbol () is shown at the left of the footer. The number as well as the colored icons in the status bar indicate there are hidden messages.
