Converting a Database into a Workspace

Open the database you want to convert.
Note
It is recommended that you perform necessary conversions (e.g., all names to ANSI C, or operator implementations to implementation casts) before you start the database-to-workspace conversion.
In the File menu, select Convert to Workspace.
The Database to Workspace Conversion wizard opens.
Follow the instructions on the wizard pages.
Note
If one or more database items cannot be converted, the complete conversion fails.
After a successful conversion, the last wizard page lists any problems that could be solved automatically. The workspace files can be found in the path specified on the third wizard page.
If the database/workspace is under version control, version control information is copied to the workspace.
After an unsuccessful conversion, the last wizard page lists the problems that could not be solved automatically. No workspace files are created.
On the last wizard page, activate Open Workspace now if you want the workspace to open immediately.
Close the wizard.
