Locking an Item

1. In the ASCET component manager, select the items you want to lock.

2. In the SCM menu, select Get Lock.

   The items are locked. Their associated icons now include a green circle, , which indicates the locked state. The Lock: Results dialog box opens; it shows the results of the operation.

3. Close the Lock: Results dialog box.

Note that the item will be unlocked automatically when you commit the item. Alternatively, you can unlock the item manually.
