Comparing Configuration Versions (Advanced Mode)

Proceed as follows to compare the current local status of a configuration with any existing of the same configuration:

1. In the ASCET component manager, select the configuration you want to compare to an older version.

2. In the SCM menu, open the Configuration Management submenu and select Compare Configuration.

   The Step 1 of 2 page of the Compare Configuration dialog box (Advanced Mode) is displayed.

3. To select the version to be checked against the current one, right-click on the configuration entry, select Change Revision from the context menu and select the applicable revision number from the Select Revision dialog box.

   Or

4. Do the following:

   1. Double-click on the configuration entry on this page.

      This brings up theDetails of <Item Name> dialog box.

   2. Click the ... button and select a different revision number from the Select Revision dialog box.
   3. Close the Details of <Item Name> dialog box.

5. In the Compare Configuration dialog box, click Next to display the Step 2 of 2 page.

   This page highlights any differences between the current local version and the one you selected.
