Compare Configuration Dialog Box (Advanced Mode)

This dialog box serves for visualizing differences between different versions of a configuration.

Step 1 of 2

The first page of this dialog box provides an overview of the selected configuration version. You can select a different version in two different ways:

Double-click on the configuration entry on this page, click the ... button in the Details of <Item Name> dialog box and select a different revision number from the Select Revision dialog box.
Alternatively, right-click on the configuration entry, select Change Revision from the context menu and select the applicable revision number from the Select Revision dialog box.

Next: Starts the comparison and displays the next page of this dialog box.

Cancel: Closes this dialog box, discarding the comparison operation.

Step 2 of 2

This page lists the local configuration content against the version you selected in Step 1 of 2. See also: Result Dialog Box. You can right-click the table and use the context menu to adjust the display.

Identical items are listed in black, invalid items are listed in blue, differences are color-coded (e.g., new items in green, different versions in red, etc.). The configuration itself is listed in italics.

Write to Log: Writes the content of this dialog box to a log file.

Previous: Returns to the previous page of this dialog box.

Close: Closes this dialog box.
