Details of <Item Name> Dialog Box

This dialog box is displayed when you open the SCM menu and select Properties or point to Configuration Management and select Show Configuration Properties.
It is opened also when you double-click on an item in a selection dialog such as on the Step 2 of 4 page in the Checkout dialog box (Advanced Mode) or the Step 2 of 5 page in the Checkout Configuration dialog box (Advanced Mode).

For configurations, <Item Name> includes (Configuration).

This dialog box enables you to do the following:

• View version information on the currently selected item.

  And – if you have locked the item –

• In the Comment area, enter comments for the item.
• In the Labels area, specify a label for the item.
• In the Attributes area, specify and edit attribute values for the item.

(next to the Revision or Configuration Revision field)

All available versions are shown for the current item. You can select the version to be loaded by clicking the … button.

(next to the Repository Path field)

Click this button to select a new repository path.

and (next to the Labels field)

Adds / deletes a label to/from the labels list.

and (next to the Attributes field)

Adds / deletes an attribute to/from the attributes list.

Element Data

Displays the Item Details dialog box.

Save & Close

Saves the current settings shown in this dialog box and then closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box and discards any changes.
