Generate A2L Entries Dialog Box

In this dialog box, you can select which A2L definitions shall be exported to file.

The export-related project settings, such as AML versions, IP address, subnet mask, XCP port, and transport layer instances, are configured in the Project Data tab.

The dialog box contains the following fields and buttons:

Export Options

ETK_XETK A2L Definitions

If you select this checkbox, the generated A2L file contains ETK_XETK A2L definitions for INCA use.

XCP A2L Definitions

If you select this checkbox, the generated A2L file contains XCP A2L definitions for tools using XETK as a standard XCP client.

Include TDM Rasters

Use this checkbox to decide whether Triggered Direct Measurement (TDM) rasters are written to the A2L file.

The usage of Triggered Direct Measurement (TDM) rasters for bypass applications can lead to inconsistent signal values. Therefore, do not use Triggered Direct Measurement rasters for bypass applications.

Create XCP on TCP

If you select this checkbox, TCP is enabled for the XCP A2L export.

Create XCP on UDP

If you select this checkbox, UDP is enabled for the XCP A2L export.

SYNCHRONIZED_DMA_STIM A2L Definitions

If you select this checkbox, the generated A2L file contains SYNCHRONIZED_DMA_STIM A2L definitions for using the Synchronized DMA Stim bypass method.

OK

Writes the selected A2L definitions to file and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes the dialog box without generating the A2L file.
