Module Parameters for CAN Output
The following shows the module parameters for CAN output:
Enter any name for the hardware module.
Define the send option used following a device error:
Abort until reinitialization
The transmission of the list is aborted until the next device initialization.
Retry from start
An attempt is made to send the entire list again.
Retry from current position in message list
An attempt is made to send data following the current list position.
Defines the current transmission rate for the CAN bus.
Note |
The transmission rate parameter is displayed both on the
interface (CAN) and the device level. |
Note |
You cannot edit the fields on the Info tab. |
Shows information about this module type.
Shows information about this module type.
Displays information about connected devices found during the hardware search.
Shows information about the driver.
Shows information about the manufacturer.
Shows the name of the list of CAN messages required by the CAN measurement device to start measuring.
To select a different Pre-List: in the Value column, double-click the field next to Pre-List.
Note |
Measurement does not start/stop until the Pre-List/Post-List list has been completely sent. The more CAN messages on the list, and the greater the delay value for the CAN messages, the greater the total delay. You can reduce the delay by entering a lower delay value in the Pre-List/Post-List. |
Shows the name of the list of CAN messages needed by the CAN measuring device to stop measurement.
To select a different Post-list: in the Value column, double-click the field next to Post-List.
Note |
Measurement does not start/stop until the Pre-List/Post-List list has been completely sent. The more CAN messages on the list, and the greater the delay value for the CAN messages, the greater the total delay. You can reduce the delay by entering a lower delay value in the Pre-List/Post-List. |
Shows the hotkey digit with which the CAN message list in the experiment environment can be sent.
You cannot edit this field.
Shows the name of the main list used with the CAN messages. The main lists can be sent in the experiment environment.
To select a different main list, double-click the corresponding field in the Main list column.
Defines the repeat option for each main list:
Send once
The CAN message list is sent once only.
Repeat forever
The sending of the CAN message list is repeated continuously. You can terminate sending the CAN message list manually or by closing the experiment environment.
