Diagnostics Using OBDonUDS

The add-on ODX-LINK adds diagnostic functionality to INCA. ODX-LINK processes diagnostic data using the ODX description; you can select and run every diagnostic service described in ODX.

For OBDonUDS according to SAE J1979-2 standard, it is recommended that you use the ODX project provided with the add-on ODX-LINK. As it is clearly defined in the OBD standard which services there are, how they are to be parameterized and which responses they supply, the OBConUDS configuration is not ECU specific, and the ODX project works for diagnostic use cases in every physical constellation. You can find the ODX project file for OBD diagnostics in your ETASData location, below the ODX folder under Projects\OBDonUDS_ETAS_SAEJ1979-2.
